Send the page URL, the sentence or figure that looks wrong, and the source you think is right, ideally an IRS page. You can use this link to start the message: request a correction.

Reporting a Calculator Problem

• The page URL and which calculator you used
• The values you entered and the result you got
• The result you expected, with a source if you have one
• Your device and browser, if the problem is with the layout

What We Cannot Help With

We cannot review a tax return, confirm what you owe, or give advice about your personal situation. The site offers general education and estimates only. For questions about your own return, an audit, or state rules, work with a licensed CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney. Many general questions are answered in the home-page FAQ and the tax guides.
